Tonite, on Law and Order, a detective show, there was a story line about a boy that was addicted to heroin, and voila! for a first, the supervising psychiatrist brought up ibogaine hydrochloride as a valid method to rapid detox from heroin, but cited the reasons why business and government don't use it. It was a definite plus, and put it out to the public in general. So the guy kid naps the kid, for an ibogaine recovery session, with a happy and clean youth left afterwards. It was a completley positive portrayal of ibogaine therapy.
