    I think that ning will grow in popularity. now that you mention it, Tribe.net's tribes and ning's sites have a vaguely similar format, don't they? if you meant "slower at ning" as in it loads slower, I hadn't noticed that.

      i meant that there is not as much traffic, or casual readers, thru ning. But i transplanted one of my very dear tribes over to ning, and the people that were serious, and interactive members of tribe, came right over. And in the end, the quality of disscussion increased.
      
      The best part of ning, is that one can add so much more to posts/comments - pictures, videos, etc.
